Keyboard & Touch Pad Disabled??

I have a new ThinkPad Edge 13 and the keyboard and touch pad seems to be randomly disabling. I may be engaging this function unknowingly. Is there a shortcut to turning the keyboard and touchpad on and off. I've called Lenovo and they didn't seem to know how to do it. I think on other models you may use the F8 key but it doen't seem to be the same function on this one.. Any advice?

G'Day ..
sounds like NEW KEYBOARD time .....call tech Support for replacement! they will send you a free one to isntall > or send over laptop for keyboard replacement.
((my new new Edge (withWWAN) is a brease...never misses a beat !)
