X1c 2nd gen - mPCIe slot capable of driving mSATA SSDs?

#1 Post by daten » Sat May 24, 2014 4:30 pm

Hey folks,

actually the topic says it all: Is the 2nd generation Thinkpad X1 Carbon capable of driving mSATA SSDs?
I know it has an M.2 slot for its regular SSD, but I'd like to extend (not replace) the storage (if possible).
Will mSATA disks work inserted into the mPCIe slot?

Thanks a lot and have a nice weekend!
