X1 Carbon BackLit Keyboard do they all have this feature?

Hey Guys, Im looking to buy a 2014 X1 from a friend.. He said it doesnt have lighted keyboard.. I thought all of them came with that option? Can someone verify this for me? Thanks in advance.. It was purchased in 7/2014 . It looks like it has the big track pad with no buttons.. thanks

As far as I know all have backlit keyboards.
