X1 Carbon FingerPrint "Option Currently Unavailable"

Hello all. I purchased (2) X1 Carbon Gen1's. I was able to get the fingerprint reader to work with Win10 for Windows Hello - unfortunately after hours of trying I got it to work. I ended up buying another one and I cannot for the life of me to figure out how I got it to work. The error I'm getting is "Windows Hello Fingerprint - This option is currently unavailable" "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint"

I've enabled it in the Services & group policy. The drivers are installed and working. Any help would be very much appreciated. I know it works, because I got it working on the identical first unit.
