As I wrote in my previous post everything I need to work, works as well
if not better, than it did in Windows 7.
The one gripe I have is the accuracy or lack of it, of the touch screen on my X200 tablet.
It is impossible for me to close a program by tapping the red X in the upper right
corner. The accuracy is off by at least 3/4 of an inch below where the touch is needed
and there isn't room to tap any higher.
I have tried the touch adjustments within Windows 8 but once again the X's are
all on the edge of the screen and I can't get them to match where I touch.
Maybe it's screen resolution? Maybe it's a driver issue?
But I was wondering if others here are having the same issues with touch on the X200.

Re: Touch screen accuracy Win 8
I have no problem with accuracy (the only issue is that working with nails is far more responsive than with fingers).
Did you tried to calibrate the pen and touch in configuration?
I checked my drivers - for the wacom penabled dual touch I use the Wacom drivers with version 2.8.0.5. Touch has the GUNZE version 2.5.1.0 drivers. I'm not sure any more, but I think I installed the latest windows 7 drivers with windows 7 compability enabled.

Re: Touch screen accuracy Win 8
It took a while but I finally seem to have nailed the touch accuracy difficulty I was having.
The problem was that on my x200T, wherever I touched the screen caused an action about
3/4 of an inch away. Not a problem for much of the time except I couldn't close a program
by tapping the red X in the corner because the target area was too small.
The screen resolution of only 1200X800 caused problems for me when I tried the calibration
software that came with Windows 8. The X's that they required me to tap were right on the
edges, so it was the same as trying to close down a program; not enough space.
By gripping the threaded shank of a small metal screw with my nails, I was able to tap
the center of each X on the calibration page with the screw head, which was slightly rounded so
as not to scratch the screen.
Using this method I was able to successfully calibrate the touch screen to pin point accuracy.
Well, screw point accuracy at least!
