Anyone got Win 8 working on X200 tablets?
I tried checking the compatibility using the upgrade assistance. It said that the secure boot and screen resolution are not compatible on my 7449 modol...

Re: Anyone got Win 8 working on X200 tablets?
I got the same warnings on my x61 with Win8 RP. Basically Win8 runs on 1024x768 but you cannot use the snap feature unless you have 13xx by 768. I also have Win8 RP running on a T43p.
I see no reason why Win8 wouldn't run on your machine as it is newer than both of mine.

Re: Anyone got Win 8 working on X200 tablets?
I just bought a X200 tablet (pen only), win8 install was painless, nice and fast, excellent tablet response and pen pressure works (defaults to OFF, turn on in control panel)
The most recent BIOS won't work (the wrong TS driver gets loaded), had to revert (after upgrading everything) to bios 3.1.
There is a way to scale the display to allow snap feature to work, not sure it's worth the effort.
Getting pen navigation working was simply a matter of turning it on in the control panel, nav defaults to off.
pen nav works fine on the desktop, and NOT in Metro.
Still working at getting pen swipes functional in metro.
Works fine under Linux

Got OpenGL working by tweaking the .ini of the Lenovo driver, more details in the win8 thread starting here:

Is there a way to make Windows copy/paste work like it does under X11?
(drag select copies, MMB pastes, as well as the usual ctrl+c/v, which actually use different buffers)
