T430s Optimus with Minidock 3+ and multiple monitors

Has anyone gotten the Optimus on a dock to work with more than one (2 or more) external monitors AND the LCD display? According to Lenovo, I am supposed to be able to use 3 external monitors + LCD or 4 external monitors. I tried to hook up 2 external monitors and have a hard time getting the LCD to light up together with both. Max I could do was 2 in any combination.
