How does the image look on the external monitors, very washed out?

As far as I know, all 27" 2560x1440 monitors in existence are IPS. An IPS monitor would never look washed out.puma wrote:How does the image look on the external monitors, very washed out?

But doesn't the video card on the laptop also determine the image quality on the screen? For example I have a very high quality monitor, I hooked up the asus zenbook to it, it looked awful!
