T430 with Gobi200?

I read another unsuccessful thread of a Gobi 2000 in a x230 attempt.

The Gobi I own is lenovo branded, tech support from GA found a driver in the T430 driver page for the 2000 but still we got a message that said not compatible.

What gives here? Thanks.
