Screen Lid Latch for T430

Dear friends:

One side of my screen lid latch is broken on my recently-acquired (used) ThinkPad T430. I am trying to find a proper replacement. Will this one work? I wrote to the seller and he does not know. If not this unit, any suggestions where I might find the right replacement?

I don't have anything newer than a T520. However, based upon the photos that I've seen of a T430, the lid latch release system is the same as my T520. That is to say, the spring-loaded slide in the base of the laptop moves two catches out of the way so that the lid can open. The two latches in my lid are independent pieces; they do not seem to be connected to each other. Note that I've not yet removed the LCD bezel on my T420 to confirm this but wiggling one latch does nothing to the other.

I'm in the same boat as you since the left latch on my T520 is broken and I've been looking for a replacement. They are hard to find as it appears from the Hardware Maintenance Manual that the lid latches are included with a major portion of the lid assembly. I've not been able to find a part number (FRU) for just the latch.
