T530 series and above ??

Do all the T series laptops from the T530 to the T580 have removable batteries?

Do any of the T series from the t530 and above have a quad core processor, or do you have to have a P50 or P51 for still for that ?

Easy way to find out is to input the following search parameters into the search engine of your choice:
<model_number> psref
(for example: t540 psref)

One of the first link will be to Lenovo's Personal System Reference (PSREF) document which will detail all the available configuration parameters of the system.

From what I've seen the T530 and T540 have traditional removable batteries. The T550, 560 and 570 do have removable batteries, but there's also a second battery inside the system which is not deisigned to be removed (although it can be swapped out by disassembling the unit). I've not yet had my hands on a T580, but from what I understand it has a chassis pretty much the same as the T570 so it stands to reason it'd have the same configuration as the T570.

All of these models have a quad core CPU as an option.

My t450s internal battery is pretty easy to replace if needed...once u figure out how to get the back off.
