I recently got a T480s, was unable to get a T480 as it was never delivered once I ordered it.
I have only been upgrade the RAM so far by replacing one of the 8gb sticks the laptop came with, with a 16gb stick of RAM.
I've looked online and have been unable to find any guides to any other upgrades that I could give my T480s.
If anyone has any suggestions or if I'm better off trying to resell this laptop and simply by a T480 and upgrade that further please let me know.

Re: Possible Upgrades for a T480s ?
SSD --> M.2 NVMe 2280
Screen --> FHD (non-touch) to FHD (touch) or WQHD (2560x1440). Note that this requires changing the LCD cable.
WWAN SSD --> needs B+M key NVMe 2242 SSD; unfortunately most 2242 NVMe SSDs are M-key only, and many B+M key SSDs are SATA (which won't work). One solution would be to get an M.2 2230 M-key NVMe SSD (popular due to the Steam Deck and other portable consoles) and use a B+M to M key adapter, but not all of them work. There's a thorough discussion on this archived reddit post, which is for the T480 but generally applies to the T480s as well.
