Hi, I ordered the Korean keyboard with FRU 04Y0560 (Chicony backlit Korean keys) from Aliexpress and I received a legit-looking keyboard with Korean keys but with FRU 04X1273 (Chicony backlit Taiwan keys according to the FRU list).
The keyboard looks alright, but I don't want to take any chances as I spent a lot of time making sure I got a legit keyboard.
Should I send it back? Is it likely the factory repurposed Taiwanese keyboards with Korean keys or is something afoot?
Thanks in advance

X230 Chicony keyboard - genuine? *WARNING: PICS*
Re: X230 Chicony keyboard - genuine? *WARNING: PICS*
Hi, welcome to the forum. Is sending back even an option?.. How much of what you paid would you get back?
On the topic - unfortunately no idea what to make out of FRU sticker on the back mismatching key layout..

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking a while but I'm keen to contribute.
It cost around $60 and I sent it to a freight forwarder in Hong Kong (Superbuy). So I am able to send it back quite readily and I assume I'd get all of it back. The trouble is finding a legit one with backlighting - I'm probably going to take the risk if I can't find anything else. The same seller has a Thai layout chicony available, but isn't very responsive on chat. Comparing pictures to this thread it doesn't seem to have any major red flags.
I sent my Chinese modding contact a picture and he says it's real.
EDIT: received the keyboard and it's real. Seller was DZ-world on Aliexpress.
