I'm having trouble updating my BIOS. My current version is 2.55 (BIOS) and EC 1.12, and I want to update it so I can mod the BIOS. However, I’m stuck because I can’t get a bootable USB drive to work, and I’m not used to older BIOS versions. I can’t seem to find any resources on how to boot from the USB or what BIOS version I need for modding.
Can you help me with the following?
How do I create a bootable USB with the BIOS update?
How do I boot from the USB in the BIOS?
How do I find the right BIOS version to update for modding?
Thanks for your help, and have a great day!

The latest X230T BIOS 2.75/1.15 can be found here.
Always download the Bootable CD version.
(Older versions can be found there when you scroll down).
Download/install Rufus, the easiest one is their portable version.
That website shows you how to make a bootable USB-stick.
To boot via USB, insert the USB-stick, press Power button and immediately press F12.
There you can select what drive to boot from.
If you want IVprep/1vyrain go to viewforum.php?f=68 and read up there first, before you update/mod your BIOS.
