Can a W541 handle a 4940MX or will it throttle fast under sustained loads?

Hi, I'm not familiar with W541 specifically but I was under impression Thinkpad BIOS-es typically wouldn't let you take advantage of unlocked multiplier of the extreme series processors

No idea, comrade! That would be specific to the game itself and you'd need advice from people familiar with the game not from people familiar with Thinkpads

I may have heard of something like a 7% improvement at most. I have one with the XM chip and although this may not say much, it doesn't feel quite as fast on the desktop as my PC with a pentium G4560 (7th gen dual core 3.5ghz).
