L430 green blinking power button, won't boot

I have a video I can show of the issue, but can't figure out how to attach it.
Anyway, here is what's going on:
Lenovo L430 was working fine, then just shut down last week when it was very low battery (maybe completely low).
Then when I tried to plug it in, leave it for a bit, then boot it up, it would not boot up. No fan sounds. Only an intermittently blinking green power button and battery status indicator.
L430 manual says...
"Battery status indicator:
Slow blinking green: The battery charge level is between 20% and 80% and the battery is charging."
It doesn't say anything about a blinking green power button.
All it mentions for the Power Button is, "Green: the computer is turned on. This status indicator stays lit whenever the computer is on"
I bought a new charger adapter/plug thinking that was the issue. No dice.
I bought a new charging port and replaced it (currently in the computer). Same blinking green light.
Any advice as to what would allow my computer to boot up?
