For troubadix

#1 Post by Insomniac1971 » Sun Oct 06, 2024 10:00 pm

I tried sending a pm but always got sql errors

So here goes

Hi, I hope you are still active here 😉

I would like to ask if its possible for you to fork tpfc 062L to Linux Mint?

Also, how do this version detect the fan? I ask because no other program in Linux or Windows 10, have been able to detect my fan, only this version. And I have slight problem with lm-sensors and TPFancod admin, in Linux Mint 20.2 on my Lenovo Thinkpad L540 - they can't detect the fan.

I would like to be able to control my fan as I have been able to do with my previous laptops, unfortunately Novuton NCPE985P controller which is the fan controller, is not detected in Linux Mint 20.2 by lm-sensors all other sensors are.

Is there a chance you could help🙂

Thank you in advance

Jan

troubadix hasn't been on the forum since October 2018...

I were hoping he were monitoring his account 🙂

Do you have any idea on how I can get in touch with him?

He is probably dead. In the German ThinkPad forum, one of the admins had a last contact with him in December 2018 when he apparently lived in a hospice. So the theory is that he died in early 2019, though no one knows 100 % for sure.
