My Lenovo Yoga 7i Pro (2023 model) has just stopped turning on, the power button flashes a couple of times when pressed but it won't actually turn on. The keyboard backlight and fans don't engage so it's not just a display issue, and this happens both connected and disconnected from the charger. I've already tried opening it up and can't see anything glaringly wrong (no loose connectors etc), and tried disconnecting the battery for a while to see if that'd cause a hard reset.

It's not any of these, I've already tried all these steps plus a bit more.

When you disconnected the battery, did you disconnected the BIOS coin cell?

I didn't, I'm away right now but I'll try that when I get back.

Unless it doesn't have one, I think some laptops just use the laptop battery for that.
