L390 Yoga touchscreen problems

Hi all, I'm kinda new to this forum (and Thinkpads in general) and I need help regarding the touchscreen of my Lenovo Thinkpad L390 Yoga

For context, I recently got this used L390 Yoga from my mom who bought a new laptop. As someone who loves drawing in their free time I loved it and began using the touchscreen and pen to draw. I also installed Arch Linux on this thing just to save its battery life.

However, recently my touchscreen has been acting out of line. On most days it would randomly press something and it would lead to me having to fight against the touchscreen demons to disable it so it won't mess up anything else. I also lost the rubber cap of the pen prior to this happening which may not be relevant but I feel is sort of important to mention in case it has something to do with it.

On some days, a part of the touchscreen refuses to work too until I rebooted or just left the laptop alone for a while.

I was wondering if any of you guys here know what's going on and what I should do? I can't simply just "disable" it and go on with my day since I need the touchscreen.
Here are the list of things I've already tried:
1. Unplugging everything
2. Disabling the Touchscreen and re-enabling it multiple times
3. Rebooting my laptop
4. Giving up

Here's some of my specs if you guys need it (Though I don't know how helpful it would be)
Lenovo Thinkpad L390 Yoga
Operating System: Arch Linux x86-64 running KDE Plasma 6.6.4 with KWin/Wayland
CPU: Intel Core i5-8265U
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
RAM: 12GB DDR4
