Trackpoint mouse slows down

Every now an then i experience that the trackpoint gets slow.

it becomes almost unuseable ..

anyone else experiencing this ?

Remove your trackpoint cap and inspect it from the bottom; is it worn/torn anywhere?

it's brand new .. came with the computer.

i'm going to try a different cap and see if it makes a difference...
