Since the Thinkpad 25 uses different trackpoint caps then other Thinkpads, thought I would just get some spare ones. Though I cannot find any specific for the Thinkpad 25 for sale, maybe anyone in here can help find them?

Maybe this?
They look shorter than what goes in an X220/T420/T520 etc.

Corrected: Low Profile ones:

Lenovo says: ThinkPad Low Profile TrackPoint Cap (Soft Dome) P/N
0A33908
Not found: any others like cats tongue.

No, not those. There are four different types of TrackPoint caps:
- Normal height: Not in use anymore since the T440 gen.
- Low Profile: Used on all models of the T440/T450 generation and on some models of the more recent ones. (P/N 0A33908)
- Super Low Profile: Used on some models of the T460/T470/T480 generation. (P/N 4XH0L55146)
- Ultra Low Profile: Only used on the X1 Tablet. (P/N 4XH0L17056)
The ThinkPad 25 uses the second type, the Low Profile one. Your link has the Super Low Profile caps.
These are the correct caps:

Yes the "Soft Dome" is not hard to find, uses the same as T470. But am thinking of the "Classic Dome" AKA "Cats Tongue". Two are supplied with the T25, though they are custom made, the standard ones from the old days are too high and will not fit (hitting the display when closed). Cannot find any part number for those ones.

01AX695 = Low Profile Soft Rim
01AX696 = Low Profile Classic Dome
However, I am not sure if you can find these anywhere. I think they just made them for bundling with the ThinkPad 25, not for aftermarket sales.
You might be able to order them on
https://lenovo.encompass.com/ as service parts – though they don't seem to be available.

I wonder of you could just take some fine grit sand and glue it on the top.

I think there should be fake (non-Lenovo) low-profile soft rim / classic dome trackpoints.

Oh, nasty! Lenovo isn't even using the standard old IBM ones for the TP25 Retrograde!!!
That's horrible because there's going to be a point where you won't be able to get trackpoint caps once they discontinue it completely. At least with the old IBM keyboards I still have loads of trackpoint caps available.
This is something that should have been brought out more that's ignored in a lot of the critical reviews of this laptop. What's the point of a ThinkPad where you can't get trackpoints for it? It's practically obsolete the moment it's released...

There won't be such a point. There will always be plenty of spares / knockoffs.

Love the sarcasm.
