License question
I already have the Vista home Pre. disk in my hand.
Because my T60 is my work machine. Can I install Vista on my 2nd temp HD. When the time comes, I will clone to my primary HD ?
As I know OEM license only allows to change some components of the laptop so I am not sure if I can do it ?

Yes, you can; but keep in mind you can only activate oem once.

But this case is not pre-installed or system recovery disks.Chatbox wrote:Some OEMs (big ones, such as DELL, HP, Lenovo...etc) don't require their customers to activate their pre-installed (or the installation from system recovery disks) Windows (Vista included).ryengineer wrote:Yes, you can; but keep in mind you can only activate oem once.
