x2100 12.2" FHD cable

Hi,

Looks like my cable is dying, and instead of the upgrade I have to urgently find the right cable. So I would really appreciate if you could guide me or, ideally, send a link to the right cable for the 12.2" FHD (1920x1200) cable.

From the post (viewtopic.php?t=132925) it looks like it is a standard 30-pin to 30-pin 200mm eDP cable. Am I right? Can I just get any such cable, mechanically fit, and connect it?

If we're to trust the OP's signature, he is in London. I'm not sure whether you guys call yourselves the UK or England as far as countries go, but it seems you both might be relatively close to each other?

First of all, thank you very much for your generous offer! I am based in Portugal now (moved there recently), but I frequent the UK.

However actually after a moment of panic (that's when I wrote the post) I bought a 30-pin 0.4 pitch eDP cable, 20cm or so, and on the second attempt managed to bend it and squeeze behind the screen. So it's working for now, let's see how it goes. I will ping you if it breaks again
