Speaker connector part number?

#1 Post by flyingfishfinger » Wed Aug 21, 2024 6:59 pm

Hi,
I noticed that the 4-pin connector originally used by X201/210/2100 speaker daughtercard is also the same as what 51nb used to provide the "extra" USB port on the X210 boards. However, I can't find any documentation for what the part number of these connectors are... anyone got ideas? I'm designing a mini PCIe card and wanted to expose the same connector as it is in the X210, for re-use in an X2100 mainboard (they removed it)...

This one (and its mating part, ideally):

Cheers,
Rafael

Your double speakers have FRU 60Y5409.
Connectors like that can be found e.g. here.
Scroll down to see a "few" of their 28,240 varieties...
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

JST ZH perhaps?
51nb X210 with community EC mod, me_cleaner and recelled 99W*h battery; X230 with coreboot, me_cleaner and nitrocaster's FHD mod as a backup; R500 for guests; T60 just for the looks.

JST ZH perhaps?
Unlikely, ZH has a 1.5mm pitch. I measure closer to 1mm, which might make it an SH/SR if it is JST. Time to order sample parts!
