Anyone with an X210 also have access to a PCIE Analyzer?

Anyone with an X210 also have access to a PCIE Analyzer?

Long shot - if you read my previous thread ("X210 WWAN /mSATA port does mPCIE!") you'll find that the X210 appears to have a somewhat crippled 2nd mini PCIe slot.

The problem is that it works for some cards, but not for others - devices mostly do not exit the Link Training stage of PCIe initialization.

However, that's about all I can find out, as there is no schematic for the board. It's not a CLKREQ issue nor a power management problem (turned off all of those already, they make no difference anyway to the one card that DOES work). I've scoped the PERST# channel and it comes up correctly according to the PCIe spec, so that's not the issue either.

What the one card working tells me though is that it IS possible to get some kind of working PCIe signalling out of that port, but I've run out of ideas to debug this further.

The only other thing I can think of is put this on a PCIe analyzer and walk through the Link Training state machine, but I haven't found access to one locally where I am at the moment. Renting one is pretty expensive, to say the least, so I'm wondering if anyone here might have access to one, to maybe try out a couple things so we can collectively get more information on why this part doesn't work right.

Cheers,
R
