Active Protection System P52
Active Protection System P52
Good afternoon.
I own a Tninkpad p52 laptop.
While Windows was installed from the factory, I had an APS system displayed and it could be turned on and off.
After reinstalling the windows, the APS disappeared and the driver cannot be downloaded for it.
The only thing I found on the forum is lenovo https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds014892, but when installing these drivers, an error occurs about the device mismatch.
What to do How to make the system work?
We’ve already discussed something similar, only unlike me, the discs were changed there, I didn’t change. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P ... -p/4214887

Welcome to the forum.
Does your P52 have a mechanical hard drive? If not, you do not need APS.

Re: Active Protection System P52
If you don't have a HDD and have SSD instead, you don't need APS at all.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

Yes, he has HHD. And before reinstalling this system worked. I even checked if I ran the movie hosted on the HDD and picked up the laptop, then the movie stopped for the time that the hdd stopped.
