good afternoon
I am writing through Google translator.
my laptop p52
For a long time, the Lenovo Ventage program requested updating the BIOS. As a result, I decided and started updating the BIOS. After the laptop rebooted and the BIOS installation went, it hung at the 70% stage. About 5 hours passed, the installation was at the 70% stage. Then he rebooted the laptop, and when you turn on the black screen, the fans spin. Dumped CMOS. The laptop turns on the backlight of the keyboard, after which the backlight goes off for about 20 seconds, the melody on the speaker plays. After decryption, this post code means replacing the motherboard. Please tell me how to restore bios. I read that there are methods to restore the BIOS with usb using phoenixtool and wincrisis, how can this be done?
If someone did this, or wrote about it, please drop the link.
Also, please tell me how to get the bios image in * .wph format?

It does not turn on after updating bios (p52)
Re: It does not turn on after updating bios (p52)
Greetings!
Sounds like (unfortunately) you've had a bad and incomplete BIOS update... therefore bricking your P52...
You need to bring your P52 into ThinkPad/Lenovo service centre to sort this out unfortunately, and this may well involve a motherboard replacement...
Hope that your P52 is still under warranty.
Sorry to bring you such discouraging news...
