Failed P51S Upgrade

I tried upgrading my P51S screen from 1080 --> 4K. Got the correct panel and swapped out the display adapter. Before upgrading I went into bios and turned off the internal battery (but did not physically disconnect the battery). The 4K panel doesn't work and neither does the original anymore. I am getting error code 0288. I suspect this is a blown fuse but just wanted to see if anybody has had similar experiences or any advice to add. I also checked with a light and there is nothing on the display (so doesn't seem to be backlight fuse).
