Hoping someone can help....

I am having issues on my ThinkPad P50 with the trackpad, with the supposed latest drivers installed from Lenovo the trackpad works including multifunction like two finger scrolling, along with the bottom buttons, but the top red line mouse buttons don't work, so roll back the drivers in Device Manager and this then reverses with all buttons working but not the multifunction aspect of the trackpad. Any thoughts on how i could resolve this issue?

SPECS; ThinkPad P50 Core I7-6820HQ 32GB RAM 512GB Nvidia Quadro M2000M running Windows 10

Im sorry Im not much of help other than that I have a P1 with the same issue including the mouse buttons. From my research I have concluded that this seems to be a common problem across the models.

It is the Trackpoint you are having problems with.
