Hi

After some problems with a gen 1 Trackoint and mouse buttons I am now in the lookout for another 2nd hand P1.

Are there any known issues of any kind I should be aware across the generations?

Any good summaries of tests or long term reviews or similar out there of the gen 1 throught 5 that can help me with eliminating any problems or choose other than the public specifications.

P1 Gen1 and Gen2 are very similar, basically a spec bump on the same chassis for the gen2, both are solid, not very different functionally now that theyre both almost 5 years old

Gen3 gets a new chassis (lose the ethernet dongle port) and a minor spec bump along with marginally better cooling, as well as a bigger battery

Gen4 gets another new chassis, much improved cooling (breathe through keyboard), 16:10, and a meaningful spec bump, but the keyboard drops to 1.5mm of travel from 1.8

Gen5 is a spec bump with a new cooler (vapor chamber) for the big-die GPUs, otherwise the same as gen4 with some new screens
