I have an aging P50. I replaced the non-backlit keyboard with a new one that was backlit. Upon booting windows for the first time I had to tweak the speed and cursor settings because otherwise it was moving a little slow. The trackpad was fine, but noticed the the trackpoint when moving would just change directions. If I was moving up and down all the sudden it will start going left to right. This was driving me crazy. I then went into windows device manager, and did a remove on the Synamptics Pointing Device. When I rebooted it came up, and the touchpad/trackpoint lenovo options were gone. However, the odd behavior stopped. Since the Lenovo driver isn't running, I lost the gestures on the trackpad.
Has anyone else seen anything similar to that?
