Finicky citrix xendesktop

#1 Post by bravo3 » Mon Jul 29, 2024 7:18 pm

So I managed to run Mint 22 and its so light on the hardware its like running Win95 on my T60p. I plan on utilizing this for work and our company uses citrix. Was wondering if the gpu is the issue behind the mouse cursor graphic artifacts? Then the whole thing quits and I have to rerun the connection again to my virtual machine session. My graphics is ATI and my RAM is maxed out on 4 GB. Is there a tweak I can do to prevent the session disconnects?
2 X100e's(bricked until I could figure out how to re-solder the CPU back on to board), T60p, T60 (shadow display on LCD), T420 with quad i7 work horse, T440p(quad i7) and a recent addition a souped up T480 i7 - RIP A21e & 600X

My understanding is, that Linux is not friendly with dedicated graphics like ATI and nVidia.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!

That is helpful. My T60p then is just for browsing and some office work but not work work.
