Pre-installed Linux owners, what is your experience like with support?

Just curious, for those who have purchased a ThinkPad specifically with a pre-installed Linux on it, have you ever had to contact support for anything? If so, what is their attitude like?

it s linux, all the wisdom is freely available online. it will work out of the box; and keep working! do not worry

Doubt you've ever heard anything similar from anyone working at Lenovo.

people buy laptops with linux pre-installed to be 100% sure all hardware is supported by the linux kernel and to escape from the windows tax. honestly; of this market segment; i think 99% re-install upon purchase their own distro of choice.

Who is to say the distro of their choice is not the one that is pre-installed? Fedora Linux and Ubuntu are some pretty heavily-used distros.

Why I can't find any pre-installed Linux Thinkpad in my region? Or I must order from website?
X220 with Win 10 21H2 Fedora 38 XFCE 4.18 (official spins)
i7-2640m, disabled Hyper Thread, Temp Drop on average 10*C, all core activated, need KVM for Windows
12gb RAM (enough for now, DDR3L)
480 Kingston Fake SSD
64gb Samsung SD Card
Recently rolled back to Windows 7 from Win 10 21H2. Sad

Yes, you must order from their website. The pre-installed ThinkPads are custom orders.
