E520 and 2nd HDD ?

Hi, after many years with my T42, I feel it is becoming the time to give it some relax and find a new PC.

Being "trackpoint addictive", I'm looking for a replacement from Lenovo, and being early retired since several years, the budget (and probably use of the PC) probably doesn't justify or allow for a Tx series as I would like much.

So, I'm thinking about an Edge E520 PC, that I know is not as robust as the Tx series, but could fulfill my needs. I have some questions that surely someone could answer to me:

1.- Where could I find the full specs of them? I have been looking to the Lenovo website and I find a general specs info, but not as detailed as I would like. I miss number of USBs ports, memory card reader ports, wifi characteristics, etc. etc. I'm thinking about the NZ33KSP device (the spanish version of I don't know which one).

2.- In my current T42 I use a second HDD many times, using a HDD caddy that I can insert in the DVD bay. Is there the same possibility in the Edge E520? And is it able to boot from this second HDD?

Surely I will have more questions, but these ones are the first that come to my mind. I already looked to the Edge related forum and will still doing it.

2.) Non-T/R/W series Thinkpads are known to be incompatible with Ultrabay 2nd HDD caddies. Most of the optical drives in 'non' machines are fixed (non-removeable)
