SL510 2847-9UU Random key failures

I have an SL510, 2847, and some of the keys randomly stop working. Nothing as ever been spilled on the keyboard. The machine is as clean as the day it was new. It's running Win7 Pro (32).

Ideas?

This past week I saw a perfectly looking keyboard on a SL510 fail on nearly the entire left side for no known reason.

I would say there is more than a chance the keyboard is bad.
