T450 - Doesn't charge while on

The computer does NOT charge the batteries while the computer is on. It DOES however charge (blinking red dot and power button) while the computer is off / asleep.

any thoughts?

tried with 45W and 65W AC Adapter

What CPU and GPU? Did you install any software that wasn't originally in the laptop when you bought it?
My T430 with GTX 560 Ti (Now with GTX 670)
T430: i5-3320m, 8 GB, SSD + HDD, 1600x900.
