Thinkvision L150p height adjustment

#1 Post by wolfman » Fri Jun 03, 2005 9:50 pm

This is a really simple question I think...I ordered a Thinkvision 150p LCD from IBM and it arrived today. My wife wanted native 1024x768 and this fit the bill. I'd like to adjust the height, however, the hand out that came with the unit has a picture showing movement up and down and left and right and front and back...However, when I try and raise the height of the LCD it doesn't move - and I'm tugging on it harder than I think I should have to. Is there a latch or switch or locking mechanism of some type I have to disengage before free movement of the height adjustment?

Any help is appreciated...thanks.

There is a little blue plastic handle in the back that locks it in place for shipping. Once that's removed you should have about 6 inches of up/down travel. I love my L150p!

That did it, thanks! Guess it wasn't a lever for height adjustment after all..guess I should have looked closer at the quick set up guide, it had a cicle around the lever with and out arrow...but I didn't want to just pull on it and potentially break something. Thanks again, my wife is very happy with it and I'm jealous of all the movement flexibility it has.

I just wish it could handle higher resolution. I use a desktop plugged in to it via VGA and my ThinkPad via DVI, and sometimes a little more real estate would be nice...
