I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask. The crappy and very tinny speakers are the only issue I have with this laptop. Other than that, I love everything about it.
And the bluetooth on it works great, so its easy enough to stream audio to external speakers.
But wow, what crappy speakers.
Take a look at our

Have you tried to see if you can use the dolby drivers from a T420s?
Check out Lenovo's forum.
I know it works on a T/W520, I can't recall if I did the mod on a W530.

Thank you saucey! I didn't find Dolby drivers for my machine, but I installed the official Realtek drivers and its a world of difference.
For anyone in the same boat, when I had the tinny audio my soundcard was appearing as "High Definition Audio" in Win7's Device Manager. Now it appears as "Realtek High Definition Audio" and it has a nice full sound.
I installed the driver from Lenovo's site:
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/product ... beta=false
The driver file is named gga109ww.exe.
