I want to upgrade my ThinkPad X1 Tablet 1. Gen with a Micro-SDXC card. Is 128GB possible? Did anybody try this ?

I vaguely recall reading that if a device supports microSDXC, then it can use all microSDXC cards, of any capacity. Today I received the 1TB microSDXC card that I ordered on Black Friday, and it works flawlessly on my Microsoft Surface 3 which is a year older than your Thinkpad X1 tablet 1st gen. That same day I also ordered a 512GB microSDXC which also arrived today, and I am using it on my HP Pavilion detachable laptop that's about the same age as your X1 tablet.
