resurrect old S51

HI all,
I have an old S51, 8171 that I have brought back to life. I have cloned the OS (Windows XP) using Lazefoft, onto a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 sata drive, but am unable to get the computer to boot up from this drive.
Any help is apppreciated.

Hi John, welcome to the ThinkPad forum. What is an S51? I've never heard of that model ThinkPad.

Oh! Never owned or used an IBM desktop, so not at all familiar with those model numbers.
