600x will not boot from CD

600x will not boot from CD

After replacing the CMOS battery and disabling the track pad to get rid of the 08611 error, I can now access the BIOS settings of my 600x without problems. The next problem I have encountered is that it refuses to boot from the CD. I have tried using the boot menu at F12 as well as setting the boot order in BIOS.How can I get it to boot from the CD?
