T 14 gen2 and Ultra Dock type 40AJ

I’m having a problem getting video from the HDMI port on the dock to my Samsung M7 32” monitor. I have tried several different cables to no avail. It works if I use the port on the TP instead of the dock but then I only get HD res not UHD. I believe there is a known problem with USB-3 in this setup but not with hdmi.
Anyone experienced this or have any ideas please.

I don't have a 40AJ dock, but you're saying that the laptop's HDMI port only gives you 1920x1080 at best? Check the BIOS settings and see if the HDMI port is set to "2.0".

@axur-delmeria On my T14 There is no option for HDMI in my bios only Display; with, Boot Display, Boot Time ex. and video memory.
