upgrade T30 bios from 2.06 to latest(2.10)

Hi,
my bios is 2.06 with embedded controller ver. 1.03

the latest bios 2.10 requires emb. to be 1.05, how can I upgrade my emb. controller from 1.03 to 1.05?

Look at the DETAILS and you will see how to UPGRADE the emb....you might have to get appropiate bios version so that THAN you can upgrade to the latest one

Thanks for the quick response, I have been staring at that for a while and can't figure out:

BIOS 2.10 requires ECP 1.05 +

So I go to ECP(NON diskette)

ECP 1.05 requires BIOS 2.08 - not applicable
ECP 1.03 requires BIOS 2.03b - already 2.03

so I go to BIOS(NON diskette)

BIOS 2.08 requires ECP 1.05 +
BIOS 2.06 requires ECP 1.03 - already bios 2.06

so from the versions above, there is no way to upgrade ECP from 1.03 to 1.05 and there is no way to upgrade bios 2.06 to 2.08

probably I miss some details?

You first update the BIOS to 2.10
Then you update the ECP to 1.07

ok, that sounds logical, to be specific:

first I run this:
1iuj13us.exe // BIOS 2.10

then I run this:

1ihj08us.exe // ECP 2.07

all non diskette version, right?

what confuse a newbie like me is this sentence from Lenovo:

This version of the BIOS will only work with Embedded Controller Program Version 1.05 or higher.

it sounds like 2.10 will not work if your ECP is 1.03, so if I run 2.10 first, my machine will be:

BIOS 2.10
ECP 1.03, and according the sentence above, my machine will not work any more, I hope I understand it wrong

Always update in 'matching' pairs, if available.
For T30 you will not find any more BIOS updates, it's too old.

You do BIOS first.
Then you do ECP immediately after.
Problem solved.
If possible, use a floppy disk rather than from inside of Windows.
