What This Package Does
-----------------------
The package provides the configuration function program for
Windows 98/Me users on the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-11U/41U/51U/71U)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-21U/2AU/61U/71U/81U/91U) *1
     *1 1171-21U/2AU/71U supports Windows Me only

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
 Before installing NoteBook Manager package, run Add/Remove
 Programs from Control Panel to remove the previous Notebook
 Manager, if any.

 1. Start Windows 98/Me.
 2. Extract the NoteBook Manager package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then clck Run.
 4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\NBUTIL\setup.exe in the Open box and
    click the OK button.
 5. Click Next to continue with the setup program.
 6. Follow the procedure to complete the installation.

Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
1. Start Windows 98/Me.
2. Click Start, select Programs, select Notebook Manager, then click 
   Notebook Manager to bring up Notebook Manager window.
3. Right click anywhere of the Notebook Manager window to pop up a 
   menu.
4. Select About to show the version number.
