T60 with Windows 7 RTM, problem with Hotkey feature
I have T60 2007-c4u running Windows 7 RTM.
The one thing I cant get to work ( and I could not get to work with the win7 RC version) is the hotkey feature.
This is what shows on your monitor the volume bars when you hit up/down on your keyboard.
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... .html#hotf
is what I tried downloading and installing.. no go!
any ideas? anybody have luck with this?

Re: T60 with Windows 7 RTM, problem with Hotkey feature
I started having problems with the Hotkey feature and my X60s when I was running Server 2008 and again when I changed to Win7 (RC & Beta). Turned out it wasn't the Hotkey software - it was actually the System Interface Driver. I upgraded to the latest Vista driver (didn't try the Beta) located http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67228 and now everything works.

Yes, unchecking that box is the correct action to get rid of the annoyance.TheStranger2007 wrote:it did work.. now i see the volume up and down on my screen!

Re: T60 with Windows 7 RTM, problem with Hotkey feature
the annoying popups went away, but there were a few more .exe's that pop'd up, i think total like 5 or so .exe's from that same folder, i had to uncheck.
but now it all works!
