[TP X31] Error 01C9 after installing a bluetooth/modem card

Hello every body !

I have changed my modem daughter card by an integrated Bluetooth with 56K Modem.
The bluetooth work, and all every good, but when I'm starting the computer, I have the 01C9 error and it is very unconfortable.

Someone can help me ?

Thanks for the link but I've already seen and tested that but it's not working because it's only for Atheros card (wi-fi) and my problem is with a bluetooth/modem card.

This forum is my last solution. I've searched a lot of solutions for 2 months but I didn't find anything.

Are you using the correct card for an X31: 91P7315 (replaces 91P7259) ?
The other cards (X30 or X32) probably won't work because of different hardware.

I think is the correct card because the bluetooth work perfectly.

May sound like a weird question, but what wireless card do you have in there?

I've an Intel 2200BG.

But if now I changed my BMDC by the orginal MDC, the error will go away.

That is beyond weird, and I honestly don't have an answer that I could back 100% up...

Now that the BT card is out, what's the FRU on it?

Im not clear on weather you tried it, or did not, because of the Atheros issue. Its not going to hurt to use it.

Yes, I've already tried it. But the program said that it did not find an Atheros card and so the computer restart.

Honestly, I'm waving the white flag on this one...

If the laptop were mine, I'd order another BT card from a different source, just to be on the safe side, but that's a shot in the dark...
