Hello, This is probably a dumb question but I could not find an answer anywhere.
I recently bought a new hdd for my S10 notebook. Installed a clean windows xp home. It is now running super slow even worst than the old harddrive.
Is there a special Windows OS that is made specifically for netbooks?

The only one I am aware of, is Windows 7 Starter, as found on e.g. ASUS EEE.
But have you installed all the specific Lenovo drivers for your model?
Without them, you would have the problem you mention.
