T30 Parts?

#1 Post by rickc » Tue Nov 06, 2012 10:19 am

I have 2 T30's that both have the same fault. There is no power to them. The second one I left for a few weeks without the cmos battery and it did restart but upon switching it of, it refused to restart.
Iv'e tried it on ac and battery, still no joy. Also removed everything and still nothing. The green lights don't come on.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Rick

Remove everything, memory, wifi card all drives battery and power supply. Push and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Put the memory and battery back in and attach the power supply. Then try to power it on. If still no go, try an external monitor, if you have one.

A bad wifi can hobble the system, that's why you need to remove it to check.
