T530 keyboard

I am thinking of getting a (en_us) T530 keyboard for a T520:

1.
Which part number should I be looking for, by which manufacturer ?

Which part number would be considered the quietest, or the easier to type on and require less force to register a click ?

2.
It seems that mechanically it should work, any one tried this ? I am guessing that it will require some key remapping to get the rest of the keys working via some 3rd party tools.

3.
Any recommendation for seller on amazon.com/ebay.com ?

That's been tried already and while it works fine "mechanically", one would need an entirely new BIOS in order to "straighten out" the layout.

I have weak fingers and less than perfect joints , so looking for a more comfortable keyboard.

This is off-topic, but, I am also considering the option of getting a cheap stripped* T530 to repair (if i can find one), might not cost that much over a new keyboard, or just get a usb keyboard.

*stripped=without LCD/RAM/HDD/Battery/Charger.

I'm curious: have you actually tried using a *30 series keyboard for an extended period of time? Honestly, I can't see it being significantly more comfortable than the traditional one but to each their own...

Nop, I have not tried the *30 series keyboard.

But I have tried some lenovo non-thinkpad laptops for long term and they were descent.

And based on the positive reviews that the thinkpad island style keyboard is receiving, (mainly regarding its feel) , I am hoping that the the quality or comfort is not any less than the cheaper lenovo laptops.
