Best docking station choice for T430?

Hello, my friends. I am seeing several different versions of docking stations for my T430. I also see some are for T430S, which I am thinking is different from my plain T430?

I am not sure what dock might be best. I would like to have for working at my desk:

--At least one video monitor connection
--Network connection
--USB ports for mouse, keyboard and an external storage drive for backups.

The dock options are the same for T430 and T430s. Here are the options:

Some of these are available with USB 3.0 or eSATA, unfortunately not both.

If your external storage is USB 3.0, or you plan on getting one later I would get the USB 3.0 dock (Mini-Dock/Mini-Dock Plus with USB 3.0). If you plan on eSATA storage, get a dock with eSATA (ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3).

The early Mini Dock 3 Series was flawed by a static noise on its headphone out, just for you to know.

Great find! I've noticed it too, more than once, but it's the first time I saw a reference to a specific production date that fixes the issue. I'll have to sample a few units at my work and see.
